Abstract

A LITERATURE REVIEW ON THE DEVOLEPMENT OF PORTABLE DIGITAL IN MEASURING HEIGHT IN ADULTS

Background : Height measuring instrument commonly used to measure height is to use an analog height measurement tool that is used manually, that is by reading the measured height listed on the wall. Someone whose height will be measured requires the help of others in taking measurements. This allows measurement errors due to human error factors (human error).

Objective : This type of research is a literature review that aims to examine some of the results of research with journals on the development if portable digital in measuring adult height, differences in measurement results, precision, accuracy and error values.

Method : Using literature studies conducted through searching for journals on the internet (Goggle Scoolara and DOAJ) published from 2010 to 2020. The independent variabels are portable digital measuring instrument. The dependemt variable is the defference in the result of measuring height in adults. Publication of the last 10 years, research in Indonesia and abroad.

Result : The study conducted there are many advantages of tools made with various sensors. The researcher found that the heighest error result in the tools made was only 3,20% with an average height measurement of >96% and the precision and accuracy of the measuring instrument was >98%.

Suggestion : For futher research, it is hoped that measuring instrument made or designed with the different bases and sensors can also have the same results as the manual measuring instruments commonly used, so that they can be developed again to get better measurement results.
